Earlier this year I shared a tutorial for a napkin candle that you all loved so much it went viral! And since it was such an easy DIY I thought it would be fun to try it again for Easter. Only one problem, the napkins I chose this time were way thinner than the ones I used earlier this year. So when I tried the blow dryer method with these napkins the napkin ripped. I tried it 3-4 different times and different ways with the blow dryer and after 2 hours I finally gave up. Finally, I decided to try a different method using an iron instead. So I decided to get an iron, just for crafting, I figured I already have a blow dryer just for crafts, I might as well have an iron for crafts too. And guess what, it worked! Not only did it work, but it was so much easier and quicker than the blow dryer method. And now I’m never going back! And aren’t these DIY Bunny Napkin Candles absolutely adorable? I used my flameless candle hack, so now I can use them year after for spring and Easter!

@cassiechristopher DIY Easter Bunny Topiary! I am blown away by how these turned out!! This would be perfect for your Easter entryway decor or even as an Easter centerpiece! Full disclosure! This project was super messy but I’d still do it all over again because I absolutely love how the moss bunnies turned out! Items you’ll need for this project: Large craft foam ball (bunny body) Small craft foam ball (bunny head) Moss mat Wooden Dowels Hot glue gun Lots of hot glue sticks ready to go Ribbon Easter bunny headband (optional) Step-by-step moss bunny tutorial: Begin by cutting out pieces of the moss mat to cover your craft foam balls. Secure your moss onto the balls with hot glue. (I found it best to cut the pieces into triangles, hexagons and pentagons). Insert a wooden dowel halfway into the larger moss covered ball, leaving about half of the dowel sticking out. Then take your smaller moss covered ball and insert the other half of the dowel into that ball. I also placed a dab of hot glue where the two foam balls met. Cut out some bunny shaped ears with the moss mat, making sure to cut out a front and a back for both ears! (Totally optional but I found it best to trace a bunny ear headband that I had on hand!) Sandwich a wooden dowel inbetween the front and back of each bunny ear. Be sure to leave some of the wooden dowel hanging out of the bottom end before glueing it together. Push the ears onto the bunny head. Finish it off with a bow and place your bunny topiary in your favorite planter! Let me know if you have any questions and I’d be happy to help!
